Meet the Artist

Elisabetta Furcht is an Italian watercolor artist.
She has worked in corporate marketing and advertising most of her life, but watercolor is her true
passion. She only started painting later in life: before leaving for college her son gave her some
watercolor paint, to fill the void. She started sketching and never stopped!
Elisabetta is a watercolor teacher on Skillshare and has a YouTube channel about watercolor
pigments.
Her father Roberto Furcht was a Shoah survivor, who lived in clandestinity in Italy during WW2, as
a hidden child. This heritage shaped her strong Jewish identity as well as a passionate Zionism.
After October 7 she devoted her art to advocating for the hostages and antisemitism. Her
watercolor sketches have been displayed in exhibitions in Tel Aviv, Boca Raton, Barcelona, Berlin.
Elisabetta lives in Turin, Italy, with her husband and has an adult son. She also has two dogs and
three cats.
